Heritage Core Range

Our 3 Heritage beers are inspired by Britian's rich brewing heritage, looking back through recipes from the 19th Century and giving them a lift with some modern British and New World hops.

1853 -ESB 5.3% -  Deliciously rich Extra Special Bitter, using British and noble hops for bittering and flavour then heavily finished with New Zealands Dr Rudi, this is fresh, and easy drinking.

1820 - Porter 6.6% - Full of chocolate and coffee notes, based on a 1800's recipe, we avoid using roasted malts for this porter istead loading in the chocolate malt and wheat, giving the beer a smooth rich flavour and winning a Silver Award at the Global Drinks Awards this October.

All our Heritage Ales are brewed to be great if drunk today, or can be laid down and aged to allow their flavours to evolve.
